The South Florida Palm Society's Spring Palm Sale will be held at Montgomery Botanical Center from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. Entrance and parking at Gulliver Academy, 12595 Red Road, Coral Gables.  Paintings of palms in native habitat and landscapes will be on display at the palm sale.

May 2 - June 4 - Museum of the Everglades
"The Uncommon Beauty of the Everglades" Solo exhibition of Everglades paintings at the Museum of the Everglades in Everglades City. Reception Saturday, May 14, 1:00-3:00 pm. (239)695-0008 www.evergladesmuseum.org The Museum is located at 105 West Broadway, Everglades City. Open to the public Tuesday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, and Saturday, 9 am to 4 pm.

2010 Paint the Parks - Three of my paintings were selected into the 2010 Paint The Parks Second Top 100 and Mini50, a national competition for paintings of the National Parks.  The paintings are "Three Pines and Paurotis", "Turner River II" and "Cold Front".  All were painted en plein air in Big Cypress and Everglades National Park this past winter.

2009 Paint the Parks - Three of my paintings were selected into the 2009 Paint The Parks Second Mini50, a national competition for small paintings of the National Parks.  The paintings are "Butcher's Pond", "Pine-ing for a Hammock" and "High Noon, Pinelands".  All were painted en plein air in Big Cypress and Everglades National Park this past winter.
